What is a Natural Latex Mattress
We start every investigation with a question, not a commission. The mattress industry has spent decades building a wall of jargon, certifications, and half-truths. We exist to pull it down, one article at a time.

Our mission
We research what the mattress industry doesn't want you to know.
The mattress industry spends billions convincing you that their certifications, materials, and sleep science are legitimate. Most of it is marketing.
Treevana exists to cut through that noise. We investigate certifications like GOLS and OEKO-TEX, pull apart material claims, and ask the questions that brand FAQs are designed to avoid. We don't sell mattresses. We don't accept affiliate commissions. We have no financial relationship with any brand we cover.

01
We start with the claim
Every investigation begins with something a brand says — on their website, in their marketing, or on a product label. We write it down exactly as they said it, then go looking for evidence.
02
We verify the standards
Certifications like GOLS, OEKO-TEX, and GOTS have published criteria. We read the original standards documents, not brand summaries. If a claim doesn't hold up against the source, we say so.
03
We write what we find
No softening. No hedged language written to avoid brand backlash. If a certification matters, we tell you why. If a label is misleading, we say that plainly.
